    Introduction

    Lesson Series 15 – Part I showed that trafficking in a complex problem and results in many human rights violations of the victims of trafficking – women, men and children. Numerous case studies were presented to illustrate the nature of "trafficking in women", the complexity of the problem, and the many ramifications of the effects of trafficking on those who have undergone some or all of these violations of their persons and integrity.

    Part II of this Lesson series will discuss strategies to prevent trafficking, to prosecute traffickers and to protect the rights of persons who have been victimised through trafficking.
